So much so that I started to develop my own vision of the place, inspired also by a modlist that uses RoL as it's Alternate start option, Librum by Apoapse. This did much to eliminate my complaints about equipment offered, however still left me wanting something more. Player choice is important, by all accounts, but with things like a Daedric Mace and enchanted Dwarven armor in the starting area, the options offered were somewhat too much for my tastes.Įnter Realm of Lorkhan - Alternate Cut.
However, information was sparse and quite honestly, much of the content seemed to me to exist solely to give the player a whole bunch of cool stuff before starting their game. There has always been an element of Mystique to the place that has kept me coming back and wanting to learn more about the place. The Realm of Lorkhan has always intrigued me, more so than any of the other alternate start mods.
